Joel Mwenda Rukariah is a dedicated Senior Technologist within the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technology with a specialization in Automotive from Moi University, demonstrating his expertise in the field of automotive technology. Currently, Joel is pursuing his Master of Science in Energy Technology at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), underscoring his commitment to advancing knowledge in the realm of sustainable energy solutions.

Joel’s passion for renewable energy is evident in his ongoing research project, generously supported by an internal research grant from Meru University of Science and Technology (MUST). In this research endeavor, he explores the cutting-edge domain of Solar/Biogas hybrid energy systems, seeking to harness the power of the sun and organic waste to create sustainable, eco-friendly energy solutions.
