I hold a PhD in history from AIU, specialized on the history of democracy in Africa; case study of Tanzania and Kenya. I also hold a Master of Arts degree from Moi university specialized in the history of the informal sector in Eldoret. My bachelors degree was in Education from Moi University where I specialized in History and Kiswahili. Am a commissioner of scouts having done all courses in scouting upto Woodbadge. I have passion in planting of trees and caring for the environment. I taught in high school for 33 years rising to become a deputy principal of a national school for seven years. I teach history in the school of Education Arts department which I joined in January 2024. Previously I had worked as an Adjunct of meru university in the same capacity for 4 years.

I have written a book on history titled “History and Government Reconstructed” for form one to four which is unpublished. It basically covers KCSE syllabus. I wrote masters thesis on the History of the informal Sector in Eldoret 1908-2009 published by Moi University in 2017
