Mr. John Ng’ang’a Gitau

Lecturer
John Gitau is a lecturer who teaches information science and knowledge management related courses for bachelor of information science at Meru University of Science & Technology. Gitau believes that information management skills are fundamental in knowledge based economy and critical to University students. In addition to managing the BIS curriculum for the department, he carries out advisory to students pursuing bachelors of information science. Gitau has also been appointed as examinations officer for the department. John holds a degree in Library and Information studies from Kisii University and a Master’s degree in Information Science from Kenya Methodist University. Previously Gitau worked with Kenya Methodist university as a librarian and finally as an assistant lecturer before exiting. John is currently pursuing a PhD in Information and Knowledge Management at Technical University of Kenya( TUK)
