Ms. Fridah Kainyu Micheni 

Lecturer

Fridah Kainyu is a Technologist in the School of Computing and Informatics, Information Technology Department at Meru University of Science and Technology. A versatile, analytical and hardworking Information technology specialist with practical hands-on approach and perseveres to achieve the best results. Fridah trains, examines, supervises, develops curriculums and coordinates the Certificate and Diploma in Information Technology Programmes. In addition to coordinating the Certificate and Diploma in Information Technology, she acts as the Attachment Coordinator for the Department of Information Technology and once served as the Examinations Coordinator. Her areas of training are Management Information Systems, System Analysis and Design, Database Management Systems and Computer Programming. Fridah is a Trainer of Trainers (ToT) in Competency Based Education and Training (CBET) and an Industrial trainer by National Industrial Training Authority (NITA). Fridah holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Information Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Information Technology at Meru University of Science and Technology. Her research interests are in Information Systems, Data Mining and Internet of Things. Fridah is a participant and contributor to the Mater Heart Run, member of the Kenya Red Cross Society. Her hobbies are spending time with family and friends, travelling, cooking and listening to music.
