Mr. Simon Mirara

Mirara simon is a graduate of agricultural engineering from Egerton university later on he pursued Masters degree in UKZN south Africa where he researched on drying of faecal sludge using LaDePa machine. He worked as an intern for in Lodwar, Kenya under the then district Irrigation office in 2013, he later worked as a tutor at Kenya water institute and is currently a lecturer at Meru University of science and technology department of civil and environmental engineering.
At Meru university of science and technology he has been involved in training of undergraduate students’ diploma and certificate students. He was also involved in the establishment of the sanitation research institute and activities related to sanitation at the institute. He is also currently the civil and environmental engineering chair.
